Yep, the history of porn can be traced way back. This post reminds me of my first visit to the Museum of Sex in New York City. In the museum, there would be videos and images set up displaying pornography of the early 1900’s, which was sort of interesting to see. The professor was right in saying that much of the porn of the 50’s was sadistic in its nature. Some of the pornorgaphy shown in the museum was shown in black and white, and it was interesting to see how their sexual behavior was in comparison to pornography today on the Internte and VHS.
